1. Since buying my cream fluffy cardigan I've been dying to get the same one in black. I walked into H&M, seen it and regretted getting my cream one straight away because black goes with way more! I dont think the one pictured is the exact same one but it looks very similar, just longer.

2. How cute is this mug! As a pug enthusiast I have everything pug, except an actual dog (I've even made my boyfriend want one badly). This mug is a must to add to my collection, it even has a little curly tail painted on the back!

3.I walked into Forever 21 and seen these shorts on a mannequin paired with a lime green jumper and I fell in love! I just really like the idea of houndstooth bottoms with  a bright coloured top. I definitely need shorts like these in my wardrobe.

4.Black chunky boots are so on trend right now and I have no money to buy any, boo! There have been so many nice ones that I have noticed in stores that just make me sad because I want them so badly. I saw these ones in Deichmann and fell not only in love with the boot but also the price tag!

Weekend in Glasgow

So last weekend my boyfriend and I went to see my uni bestie Charlotte (colours and carousels) and her boyfriend in Glasgow. I am one who hates sitting doing nothing at weekends so a night away was perfect for me! Our plans were just to go out for a meal and drinks on the Saturday and then have a look around the shops on Sunday, can I just say there are so many amazing shops in Glasgow?!

The photos were all taken on my phone, hence not the best quality. I was excited for Saturday night because it finally meant I had a chance to dress up a little! As pictured in the top photo I wore my big fluffy cardigan from H&M with a floral shirt and my black quilted skater skirt. I wore my chunky studded boots (last outfit post) yet again, they are so comfy. We went to a place called Bunker where I had amazing vegetable fajitas, they were so spicy though! We also chose a few cocktails from the extensive menu which were great too, and not too expensive. After that we headed to various different pubs!

On Sunday we went 'shopping' and when I say shopping I mean we looked around the shops to look at all the things we loved but couldn't afford. The weather was awful though, so rainy but I did have my black fluffy jumper on to keep me warm.. possibly too warm. For some reason I am in love with Hamleys, I would live in there if I was a child! However what was even more amazing was the jewellery section at Forever 21, I was in actual shock at how beautiful it was. Still I refrained from buying anything, that's willpower! Then we were off home on our 3 hour long bus journey.

OOTD- date night

I tried to get a photo of the outfit on me but the lighting was just so bad because it was at night, sorry! My boyfriend and I went on a date night to TGIs, how great are the veggie fajitas?!

I wore a black 3/4 sleeve top that I got years ago from Asda tucked into my H&M khaki skater skirt. So simple but I still love the look! My chunky gold chain necklace is my favourite right now and only cost me £3 from Monsoon (it was in the January sales!). I also wore my super cosy black Primark tights, you can never have too many pairs of them.

I got my boots from a company on Ebay around a year ago, I remember they only cost around £20! Im sure there are many sellers still on Ebay selling these so I am considering buying plain black ones too!

1. Since buying the Naked 3 palette (and loving it) I am desperate to get the 2nd one. All shades look wearable for day time and nights out which makes it perfect! Although a bit pricey, the quality of Urban Decay eye shadows is amazing and  there are 12 shades which isnt too bad.

2. Recently I've been really wanting to purchase an over sized check shirt. I just think they are so versatile and can create many different looks as they can be worn open or closed.

3. I saw this skirt in H&M the other day and fell in love! I feel like leather skirts can be worn during the day with a t shirt or jumper but also can be dressed up to go out. Also you can not beat this price of this one, only £14.99!

4. Hurry up spring! I'm really liking floral dresses right now (I don't own any at all!). Come spring/summer I definitely see me having a wardrobe full of them! This one from Missguided is beautiful and the cut out detail in the front adds something a little different to the dress.

Empties #1

Here are a few products that I have finished recently:

1.  This Argan Oil conditioner has to be my favourite right now! Mainly because it only costs £1 from Savers yet it is worth way more. My hair is left soft and nourished after every use however I would say I find my hair goes oilier quicker due to the intense amounts of oil that this product contains. Other than that this product is perfect, I'm on my 4th bottle and I'm normally one to constantly change my conditioner!

2. Great Lash mascara from Maybelline is definitely high up on my favourites list. I went through a phase of only using this mascara until I recently found out about the Collection one I am currently using (recent blog post). I find that Great Lash makes my eyelashes look considerably longer than they actually are however I find when the product is first opened that its too liquidy and needs a while to dry out a little but for £4.99 I still think the product is worth the money.

3. I definitely wasn't too in love with this Maybelline Superstay 24 hour foundation. I had the colour 'light beige' which was the lightest of the collection in the store that I was in and it was still a bit too dark for me! Also I found that it applied very patchy and just did not create a flawless look (for me). Ill be going back to my Revlon colourstay now!

4. The Carex handwash smells amazing! I remember loving strawberry laces when I was younger and this product proves not much has changed. The smell lingers on your hands for ages and it even leaves the bathroom smelling nice!

What I Wore- running errands

I've got to admit that I'm not a major fan of the Red Hot Chili Peppers but I do like a few of their songs so that makes it acceptable for me to wear this top right? I saw it in New Look around August time and fell in love as its so versatile, I just love band tees in general! Heres the outfit:

I wore the top with my patterned disco pants from Topshop which I got for Christmas (you can't really so them in the photos). To cover up my arms I wore a denim shirt that I got from Topshop a long long time ago but I still love it! And to finish off I thought  my white converse were the perfect way to tie the outfit together.

1. Lately I have been loving tartan dresses with collars! I was walking by Quiz and noticed they had some in the store that would be perfect for day and also night. Hopefully I will be able to purchase one as soon as I have spare money!

2. I have been dying for one of these lip stains for ages! I have seen great reviews on YouTube for this product which just make me want to buy one even more but at £25 the price is pretty steep for me. However there are so many lovely colours in the range I think I might just have to treat myself at some point.

3. This photo does not do this eye shadow justice. Phloof is the perfect lid colour which catches my eye every time I go into the Mac store. Its just so frosty and beautiful!

4. Boyfriend coats are a major trend right now and as always I haven't found the perfect one which I can afford yet (boo!) but this pale blue one from Misguided is lovely! I'm going to keep a look out for a cheaper alternative!

Collection Super Size Fat Lash Mascara Review

I have got to admit I did not expect much from this mascara as it only costs £2.99 (can be bought here) but I have continued to repurchase it! Although there are many positives to this mascara, there actually are a few negative points also:

As you can see this mascara definitely adds length to my lashes, I just wish it added a little more volume but for £2.99 I still think it is pretty impressive. I love the massive brush and unlike others I don't find its too big that it puts mascara on my lid too, which is so annoying especially if I have just put eye shadow on! With Collection mascaras I find that they dry out quickly but I don't find that this is the case for this product. However the thing that annoys me with this mascara is that it does not hold a curl! My lashes just seem to go soft after a couple of hours and it doesn't even feel like I have mascara on yet my lashes still look long and dark. Overall for £2.99 I think this product is great, I'm on my 3rd tube!

Trend: kimonos

I have noticed that kimonos are featured in stores and online a lot recently. I love them as I feel they can be dressed up with something such as a dress but also can be dressed down with jeans. The trend can also easily be transferred to spring/summer. There are a wide variety of colours, patterns and materials available which gives great choice and leaves everyone satisfied. Here are a few of my top picks:

1. I am dying to get my hands on a pastel jumper in either pink, blue or mint! I think they are so beautiful and are great for a transition from winter to spring. The one I have featured is from Topshop but I have also seen a really lovely pink one in Newlook which I am sure can be bought at a much cheaper price!

2. I have a love/hate relationship with asymmetric skirts. I love them because I think they look edgy and can be worn in many ways however I hate that I have visions of me in one with a crop top, a look I could never pull off. Who knows maybe I will purchase one and wear a longer top with it!

3. Frilly socks are the cutest! They are a must for me right now to wear with boots as it adds a quirky edge to an outfit. Topshop have so many different colour options, all only for £3.50! They also stock patterned ones which are lovely.

4. Ah I am dying to get my hands on this but it would set me back £90. As far as I know the camera comes in pale pink, pale blue and white which are all mega cute! Also patterned film can be bought which adds a fun side to taking photos!

Recent Purchase: combat boots

Quiz is not normally a store I shop in but when I got an email from them which displayed these boots I fell in love! even thought they are not my usual look, I do need to change it up though. However having no money they were a bit pricey for me at £34.99 so I just put them to the back of my mind but was pleasantly surprised when my boyfriend ordered me them!

I got my boots in taupe (which can be bought here) but they also come in dark pink and cream. The lace part is actually see through so I can not wait to wear these with vintage wash jeans and thick socks. The boots actually look really sturdy which I was surprised by and I expect (hopefully) that they will last a long time. So overall I am really happy with these boots and so far think they are totally worth it!
