London Fashion Weekend Outfit

Dress - Missguided
Fur Vest - Ebay
Boots - New Look

So the other day I attended a day of London Fashion Weekend with my uni and it was so good! But before hand all I could think of was 'ah what do you wear to a huge fashion based event?' Was such a hard decision! I decided that I wanted to feel a little fancy so opted for this gorgeous dress that my sister gave me for Christmas. My wardrobe consists vastly of non printed clothing so this paisley pattern is something which I am so happy to own and takes me a little out of my comfort zone. I also love how its in the style of a shirt, dresses like this have always been something that I have loved but never had gotten around to get one. My bargain fur vest was then added on top, something about it just makes me feel so fab! So happy that this is now in my wardrobe as it can dress up so many outfits. Finally the outfit was topped out with my trusty chunky boots which have been featured far too many times on my blog. I did originally have a bronze chain necklace on but with the print it was just too much, it looked far better without!

1. Recently I have been loving the packs of layered necklaces that are on offer in stores and online. When in Topshop this particular one stood out to me and at £7.50 its such a great price! Primark also have many this style that I love.

2. Okay I admit that this has already been ordered and is on its way to me which I am beyond happy about. Just love it! Polo necks are something which I love and then add in grey... ahh!

3. How gorgeous is the colour of this bag? I love the structured, simple style too. May have to be added to my spring wardrobe.

4. In a few months my bedroom at home is getting decorated however I am already looking out decor that will suit.  Pale blue, white and grey will be my colour scheme as they are just such simple, pretty colours so this duvet will fit right in!

Rimmel Lasting Finish Primer

I have never been one to use a primer however for ages now have been wanting to try one. Boots had this Rimmel Lasting Finish Primer on offer for £3.99 instead of the usual £6.99, so I thought why not? And let me tell you, it is such a good product!

The primer comes out as a white creme and absorbs so quickly once applied all over the face. Now I have indecisive skin consisting of terrible dry patches on my fore head and nose yet my tzone and under my eyes can get so oily! However the product definitely makes my foundation last a lot longer than usual and I did notice a tiny difference to my pores. Its hard to hide them bad boys though! The great thing is that the primer does not leave my skin sticky, it really just feels like a light moisteriser. I love how my skin looks after using this as it appears a lot smoother. I am guessing it is designed to go with the lasting finish foundation so the combination probably looks great together!

For £3.99 this product was a steal but even at its usual price I really think its worth it! Definitely converted to using a primer now, there's no going back!

Fashion Interview

Top - Topshop
Treggings - TK Maxx
Boots - New Look
Earrings - Primark

I never know what to wear to an interview at a fashion store, it is the balance of dressing really fashionable but still keeping it smart! As mine was at Monsoon I decided this shirt was perfect as it definitely looks like something that they would sell (thanks sister for letting me steal it from you). The lilac colour is just gorgeous and is like nothing I own, can see myself stalking up on this shade for spring/summer. The v neck style is also something which draws me in, I've noticed heaps of lovely ones like this in River Island too. As usual my treggings are featured in this outfit as they go with everything and are so comfy. The moment these begin to wear I will be so sad. Have you ever felt that way about an item of clothing or an I just really pathetic? My black chunky boots were very fitting with this outfit as they can look quite smart. Finally the I needed some sort of jewellery and as the shirt had a v neck, I did not want to add a necklace. I opted for these gorgeous earrings that were from Primark (I think) and purchased ages a go.

I got the job too! woo

1. Actually in love with this dress, it is so gorgeous! I love this deep burgundy colour anyway but add in that its suede..wow. Only £25 too which I think is great.

2. I was browsing the Missguided site and came across these and instantly wanted to purchase them. I just think the mesh part looks so good and adds a little something extra!

3.Quite a few people on instagram have been raving about this skirt and I can really see why! The zip and pockets are the perfect combination. Plus it could be worn casual or dressed up which is always a bonus!

4. How cute is this mug? so adorable. I recon that if this was bought it would live on my dressing table for all too see, its too cute to be stored in a cupboard!

Maybelline Color Drama Lipstick

After absolute ages of seeing other bloggers reviews, I finally bought myself a Maybelline Color Drama Lipstick! And its love, it really is. Here's why:

The colour that I purchased is Nude Perfection and initially I wanted a Kylie Jenner colour however I feel that this shade has a little coral to it, maybe its just me? It is still gorgeous nevertheless! Usually pink or berry shades are what I go for but from now on colours this shade are going to be the way forward. The pencil glides on so smoothly and drys matte which is my favourite finish. It is so pigmented too, a little goes a long way! This is one of those products that takes hardly any time to apply yet still looks so precise. I was so happy to find that this lipstick lasted for several hours on me, something which is very rare and have no idea why. The only downside is that my lips did start to get a little dry later on in the day, nothing a bit of lipbalm did not sort though. I need to get more colours!

Massive Pink Coat

Jumper - New Look
Treggings - TK Maxx
Necklace - H&M
Coat - Asda
Boots - Schuh

Having never owned such a bright coat before, I have been finding it hard to style this one. However I have come to the conclusion that it looks great with an all black outfit. It is also super cosy too which is great for this freezing weather that we have been having right now. The best part? It only cost £15 in the Asda sale down for £30 something! It also has a massive hood which keeps the wind and rain out of your face, no more nasty smudged eyebrows! My jumper is a favourite of mine and is just black and fluffy. It was actually bought last year but so many stores currently have similar ones. I really recommend investing in one, the go with so much and are so comfy to wear. Again I wore my treggings which I am addicted to wearing... sorry they are just so comfy! Finally I added my new favourite Blowfish boots which I included in my last blog post, £29.99 well spent I would say.

Happy Valentines Day!

1. I have seen so many good reviews about Soap and Glory's Brow Archery recently and need to get in on the action! My flatmate Charlotte kindly let me borrow hers in the shade 'Hot Chocolate' and let me tell you, it was so easy to put on. The only down side is that there is only two colours to choose from, I will probably go for the lightest shade which is called 'Blondshell'

2. Every time I pass this top in New Look it catches my eye and have no idea why. It is such a plain style but is something which I would wear a lot because it would go with so much!

3. These shoes are in my work and I have wanted them for a long long time. As I am starting a new job next week it is now that I would have to buy them (employee discount and all that). Problem is I have no money but will probably never get a chance of getting them at a cheaper price again. Its the fur lining and matte boot that draws me in!

4. If you have not smelled this candle, I am urging you to. Before Christmas I had the wax melt of this and it smells absolutely amazing, so strong too. It is perfect for all year round although it will definitely be more fitting for the warmer months.

Valentines Inspired Makeup Using The Naked 3

I absolutely love my Naked 3 palette however I always find myself wishing that the pinker shades worked for me. In particular, the shade Buzz has always stuck out to me as it is such a beautiful pink. As Valentines day is fast approaching I gave it a try along with my Mac shadow in Phloof which is a gorgeous frosted white however I think it has a touch of pink to it. I actually fell in love with the result! Maybe pinks will appear on my eyes more often from now on...

1. First I applied Phloof to the inner third of my eye to brighten it up, I also added this to the inner corners at the very end. Buzz was the applied to the remaining part of my eyelid and I used a fluffy brush to blend these shadows to create a gradual colour change.

2. Nooner was then added to my crease. I love this shade and use it all of the time, it is the most gorgeous pinky/brown that really works great as a transition colour.

3. Another favourite of mine from this palette is Mugshot which I added to the outer v to create depth.

4. Finally I added mascara, winged liner and ran black eye shadow under my eye!

Paired with Macs Pink Plaid lipstick, this look is perfect for day time or even night if a little more brown is added into the crease. I might wear this look on Valentines day on a date with my boyfriend, if not I may just wear it at home on the lead up to feel extra fab!

4 Valentines Inspired Outfits

Recently I have been feeling very inspired by Valentines Day which is fast approaching. Many websites have sections for clothing suitable for the day which made me think that putting together a few looks for dates would be fun. I did not just stick to these sections though, that would be no fun! Here are 4 outfits that I would definitely wear out, that being with my boyfriend or even my friends:

I have always associated the colours pink and red with Valentines and loved incorporating them into the outfits which feature a lot of black. The pop of colour just looks fab! Trying to force myself not to buy the fringed skirt in the 'Casual Lunch' outfit is so hard right now, I seen it in store and just fell in love. Also the black and white stripped shirt in the 'Cinema' outfit needs to be in my wardrobe. The cross over front adds that little extra!

1. I have always been obsessed with khaki clothing so this top is right up my street! I love how it has long sleeves yet a little bit of your shoulders are still peeking out which would be perfect for a day or night look. The only thing that puts me off this style of top is the fact that a strapless bra would have to be worn... tell me I am not the only girl who absolutely hates them?

2. Ah, not been in love with a skirt this much in a long time. The pattern is just so gorgeous! Only £9.99 too? I will definitely be hunting this down in store. Just imagining now pairing it with my black fluffy jumper or long sleeved crop tee.

3. My eye has been on these for a while however I already have enough heels... but another black pair would be a good investment right? I always stick to the same ones which were bought from New Look around a year a go, maybe its time to change it up!

4. I wanted this just before Christmas but then forgot about it until a few days ago. It just seems like the easiest product to throw on your brows and go. I have also heard that it does not budge all day which is great. For £14.99 I recon it would be a good buy!

The Body Shop Shimmer Cube Palette

I just rediscovered this Shimmer Cube Palette in shade 06 Warm by The Body Shop and have to say that I can not believe it was forgotten about. When it was first bought I constantly used it and can see me using it as a staple again! Here is why:

All 4 shades have a gorgeous iridescent finish which looks so lovely on the eye. The Body Shop also claims that these are crease resistant and I go along with this as creasing has never occurred for me. The shade selection is perfect, the two lighter colours are perfect for the lid or highlighting and the darker colours are great for the crease and outer v. As you can probably tell from the photos, the shadows have amazing pay off as they are highly pigmented, definitely worth paying £16 for all 4 shades! Another great thing is the the shadows are all individual and have lids therefore are great for travel. Overall I highly recommend these shadows, I need to get more colours!
