Holiday Outfit #6 - Pineapples

Playsuit - Missguided
Sunglasses - eBay
Sandals - Asda

I immediately fell in love with this playsuit when it popped up on the Missguided website, even more when I realised it was only £8 in the sale. Originally it was purchased as a cover up however it was just too cute not to wear it out and about while on holiday. It is great as it does not have to be accessorised due to the print being so busy therefore there is no fuss needed - something which is essential while on holiday. This piece is definitely staying at the back of my wardrobe until my next holiday, hopefully pineapples will still be as big then!

Fairy Tale Bedroom

12345678

Recently I have been absolutely obsessed with Cinderella, mainly because of the lovely blue associated with her. My bedroom at home is about to get decorated and it has got me into thinking about how much I would love the Cinderella to be present. First of all lets just appreciate how cute all of these pieces are! The pale blue duvet set and voiles would look so dreamy along with the white accessories. Oh and the chandelier is absolutely stunning! Another favourite of mine has to be the mirror, how fab would it look placed on a dressing table? Every girl needs some fairy lights in there room so the pearl like ones would be absolutely perfect as they look adorable along with keeping the theme going. If money was not an issue then all of these pieces would definitely be purchased.

What would your dream bedroom look like?

Holiday Outfit #5 - Culotte Jumpsuit

Culotte Jumpsuit - Matalan
Shoes - New Look
Hat - Accessorize

The culotte trend throughout spring/summer is something that I loved but never thought that I would join. There is no actual reasoning behind this, I just thought that it would be a purchase that I would never make. That is until I found this jumpsuit in Matalan for the tiny price of £5! I also love the monochrome as it makes it easier to wear not just on holiday but here in miserable Scotland too. It would look great with a leather jacket thrown on top I bet. This was the only time that I got to wear my lovely sun hat on holiday unfortunately, it was just too hot during the day to have my hair down so it was constantly in a high bun. Nevertheless I love the look of it! If I can remember correctly it was only around £14 which is definitely a decent price (add in employee discount and it was perfect). Finally I wore my trusty black sandals that are included in almost all of my holiday posts. Does anyone else bring heaps of shoes on holiday with them but really just stick to one pair?

Eyeko Black Magic Mascara

I have never been in love with a mascara as much as I love this one. Ever. Eyeko has never been a brand that I have looked much in to - not because of any negative reasons, just that no one ever really talks about it. When gifted a sample of the Eyeko Black Magic Mascara for my birthday, I was very intrigued to try it. Here is why I love it so much:

(ignore the bare eyebrows, was having a natural day)

First of all, the shape of the mascara wand is absolutely perfect as it catches every single lash. In addition to this, the wand also curls and lengthens my lashes beautifully. The above photo is only one coat but more can be add to create a thicker look - just be careful though as the mascara can clump if too much is applied. When this happens to me, I just take an old, clean mascara wand and comb it through my lashes. The formula does not flake either which I love as it is definitely a pet hate of mine. My only issue with this mascara? The £18 price tag... I know its not extortionate but on a student budget it is just not always doable. Nevertheless, if I do ever have a little extra money then I will definitely purchase this mascara again.

Have you tried anything from Eyeko?

Holiday Outfit #4 - Palm Print

Top - New Look
Shorts - New Look
Kimono - New Look
Shoes - New Look

I was scared that wearing my kimono in the boiling weather while on holiday would not be possible, thankfully it was a bit cooler at night and I got a chance to rock it (even though I still ended up being a sweaty mess). It was actually bought from New Look last year for my birthday night out but I am still in love with it as much as I was back then. I have an addiction to fringe. I paired it with a simple black crop top and also these amazingly comfy denim shorts. The belt completes the shorts, in my opinion, and it came with them which is a bonus! Finally my trusty black sandals completes the outfit.

Growing Up With Two Older Sisters...

I am the youngest of 3 children with one sister being 6 years older than me and the other 8. When we were younger the usual fighting and bickering occurred between us all and I thought that it would never change. However as I have heard with a lot of people, me and my sisters have had a great relationship since they moved out of the family home. I do not know why but it suddenly sprung into my mind to write a post about the benefits of growing up with two older sisters - both who I looked up to immensely and still do.

Second Mother - My oldest sister Kirsty was like a second mother to me growing up. My mum worked and my dad has never really been in my life so she used to take me out a lot. Kirsty went on to be a wonderful mother of 3 children and Jen to 2. That is another point actually, watching them being fab mothers will hopefully help me when if I eventually have children (that is if I am not put off by then)

Hand-me-Down Clothes - I always felt like I had the coolest clothes growing up as Jen would come round with bags full of hand-me-downs after cleaning out her wardrobe. It never actually dawned on me that she must have been giving them away as they were no longer the most fashionable anymore though... Still I appreciate it! My sisters were also my source of fashion inspiration, I just thought they were the bees knees.

Hair and Makeup Artists - Along with helping me out in the fashion department, they also helped me with my overall beauty routine. I liked to copy their hairstyles but also liked letting Kirsty do my hair. I have a school photo of me in primary school looking like a little pirate with a full head of individual pleats but at the time I felt amazing. Kirsty also used to pluck my eyebrows for me saving me from many awful 'I cannot believe my eyebrows were like that' photos.

Always Have a Shopping Partner - If I ever need to go find an outfit for a special occasion or just generally feel like shopping (which isn't much, I am poor) one of my sisters are always more than happy to come. I am never stuck for a shopping partner!

Someone to Talk to - Again they are always there if I need to talk to someone. I can literally say anything to them and get great advice and their honest opinion back. Everyone needs that.

I never thought that I would be so soppy towards my sisters but I really could not imagine growing up with anyone else. My sisters are definitely my best friends, even though they are annoying sometimes.

Holiday Outfit #3 - Florals

Dress - New Look
Shoes - New Look
Bracelet - Accessorize
Sunglasses - eBay

This has to be one of my favourite outfits that I wore on holiday as it just looks so girly but was so comfortable on. The dress is such a light material which felt amazing in the heat! The cut out shoulders also provided some relief. I am telling you, it was so hot. I love the cute floral pattern, mainly the colours as I just think that they work so well together. The sandals were a sale purchase from New Look and although I love the way they look, they were not the comfiest. Lets just blame that on my broad feet as it was the front strap that was too tight. My bracelet is actually one I wear to work but it was too pretty not to take on holiday with me. Saying that, I took so many necklaces with me for that reason but only wore one...
