Got Your Bikini Body Ready? My Swimwear Picks
The answer to the above question is - I definitely do not!. I wish so badly that I was going somewhere hot this year but sadly I am not, however this is an excuse for me to continue eating junk as I do not have to care about showing my body off in a bikini (whats that about every cloud?). There are so many lovely ones out there though, this year I am particularly loving high waisted bottoms and long line tops. Here are my picks from various websites:

My Favourite Bright Lip Products!
Left to Right - Rimmel by Kate, Elf Lip Stain, Rimmel Apocalips, Inglot, MAC
Bright lips are definitely my go to in summer, I love the look of the bold lip with minimal eye makeup. I usually stick to pinks but at times I am brave and go for red, even though sometimes my pale skin (I don't even tan in summer) just does not agree with the brightness. Here are a few favourites from my collection:
Rimmel by Kate in shade 12 was one of the first red lipsticks that I ventured into. I love this one as its red but has a hint of coral. It goes on very glossy and has a lot of shine to it, this is great as it is not drying in the slightest and does not stick to dry spots. I would say it does not wear as long as a matte lipstick but that's what you expect from one so silky right?
Elf Lip Stain in Red Carpet was a whim buy ages ago! It goes on glossy but dries matte, as you would expect from a lip stain. However I would say it works best with a lip blam over the top as it can be drying. The colour is gorgeous though!
Rimmel Apocalips in Apocaliptic is an amazing bright pink lip lacquer. It feels like a lipgloss therefore it is so comfortable on the lips but it is still so pigmented! I normally find that products like this do not work well on my lips however I love to wear this one, it lasts just that bit longer than normal glossy lipsticks/glosses.
Inglot lipstick in shade 421 is 100% my favourite bright pink lipstick, I wear it almost every time I go out! It is matte therefore it lasts for ages! However it is so matte that you either have to drag it on your lips or use a lip brush. Also because of this it is best to have moisterised lips beforehand. Its just a perfect bright pink that is not too harsh for my skin tone.
MAC lipstick in Saint Germain was my first purchase ever from the company and at the time I regretted it so much as I didn't not realise how bright it was. However since then I have grew to love the bright bubblegum pink! The finish is an amplified creme therefore it is very pigmented and sits perfectly between glossy and matte. I might need to purchase a back up soon!

Wednesday Wishlist
1. My mum recently bought a fairy door for the living room at home and its so cute! It simply just sticks to the skirting boards. I just love the novelty idea of having one, who doesn't wish that fairies really existed?
2. I came across this pillow cover on the website linked above and instantly feel in love. Pastel pink, blue and green are 100% my favourite colours right now so this is definitely up my alley. On a plus it also fits in with the season too!
3.The tropical trend is really apparent right now and I love it! This crop top from Motel Rocks shouts out to me as although it has the typical leaf print, it still is unique due to the colours used. Its only £18 too!
4. Pandora has always been one of my favourite places for rings yet I still don't own one. I constantly look on the website and this is the one I am currently lusting over. It looks as if it could be worn everyday but could still add glam to an outfit.

Barry M - Gelly Nail Paint
Left to Right - Pomegranate, Huckleburry, Lychee
Barry M is definitely one of my favourite nail polish brands as they have such a large colour range and also are pretty cheap. The Gelly nail paint is great in my opinion and they only cost £3.99 from Boots. They definitely provide more shine than average however I would not say that they look like a gel polish. The brighter colour (Pomegrante) can be applied in just two coats but the two lighter colours need a few more but not so much that its annoying. What I love most is that they dry so quickly! That is one of the main factors I look for in a nail polish as I am so impatient, I constantly fall asleep with wet nails and ruin them! However one drawback is that I find they chip so easily, especially Huckleburry therefore I would suggest a top coat even though the polish is shiny enough without it. Still I would 100% recommend that you try this range out!
Have you tried a Barry M Gelly polish?

Festival Fashion - Outfit Ideas
I am not one for festivals - the no showering, sleeping in dirty tents and the noise just do not appeal to me. I went to one a couple of years ago and hated it but then for some reason I thought 'oh I'll try again next year' and yeah I still didn't like it ha ha! But one thing I do love is festival fashion, the boho/floral look is definitely one of my favourite styles. I'd actually wear the style all through summer too. Here are three outfits that I put together:

Wednesday Wishlist
1. Yet another River Island bag added to my wishlist. I love the shape of this one and although its black the lime green adds a summery feel. The strap looks it can come off so I would probably do that so that the hint of lime green is just in the top section. Now just to find a spare £40..
2. This picture really does not do these shoes justice. I see them every day at work and pull myself back from buying them, but being reduced from £49 to £29 its such a hard temptation to resist! They would make the perfect summer wedge and would be so versatile.
3. Ah this dress is only £10.70 and I am so tempted to purchase it right after I write this post. I love the floral print and the split sleeves add a little extra. She Inside is quickly becoming one of my favourite sites.
4. Your should definitely google this MAC lipstick in 'Blankety' as you can see the colour better in other bloggers pictures. It looks like such a gorgeous every day nude, something which is seriously lacking in my collection.

Fujifilm Instax Mini 8
I featured this camera on one of my wishlists way back in January and kind of forgot about it but my amazing boyfriend didnt. My birthday is actually in July but he gifted me this as an early birthday present so I could take it on my holiday to Brighton. You should have seen the smile on my face when I opened it!
I really recommend this camera, above are some example polaroids. Not only does it look cute but it is so simple to use - just push the on button, adjust the lighting setting and take the photo! I feel so tech savvy taking a photo in public with the pictures instantly printing out. My youngest niece and nephew (both 2) were so amazed when I took a photo of them, they wouldn't let it go ha ha! I am definitely planning on getting a pin board to display all of my photos because I think it would look so cute!. The camera also comes in pale blue, yellow, black and white.
One thing that I would point out is that the dial 100% has to be on the right lighting setting, this is easily done though as it is indicated which one to use by a red light but forgetful me never looks. I've had so many pictures just printing white because of this, and the film is not cheap!

The Same Dress and Necklace - Worn Twice!
I recently bought this dress from New Look for £15 and it was so worth it. I love how the tropical print is coloured towards the top and as it nears the end it is black. The necklace I chose to style with it is my chunky gold chain that is seen in many of my blog posts, its definitely my favourite. The dress is so versatile as it can be worn day and night, here are my examples!
1. Night Out
I wanted the main focus of my outfit to be the dress and necklace therefore I kept the look very minimal. As usual I had to wear a thin black belt and gather the dress up over it, this had to be done as the dress was way to long on me. I wore my usual black heels, new ones are definitely in order! That is all that this outfit consisted of, a bit simple I know but I still love it.
2. Day Time
I wore the exact same dress, necklace and belt but this time I added black tights for a more casual look. I also toned down the shoes by wearing my new New Look sandals (pictured below). I love these shoes, they are never off my feet! I then added my much loved leather jacket as it was not the warmest outside, however I do wish that it didn't have the studding.
Do you love pieces that can be turned from day to night?

Wednesday Wishlist
1. This DKNY Be Delicious perfume smells so good! Being the cheap skate I am, my usual perfume costs around £13 from Avon therefore I cant see myself stretching £37 for this one... but ah I'd love to smell like this everyday!
2. My sister actually bought this kimono and I am definitely going to 'borrow' it off of her. It could spice up any outfit and could be worn with almost anything. I love how boho it looks, perfect for summer!
3. I have been in love with these shorts from Motel for the longest time, the day that I am actually writing this the whole website had 25% off. My heart is broken because I still have no spare money to get them. I just think that I am a sucker for daisys and sunflowers! There is also a gorgeous skirt with the same print.
4. Sleek eyeshadow palettes (this one is in Au Natural) are so pigmented and last all day! I actually used to own this exact palette but I was 'creative' and decided to depot them (just like all of my favourite youtubers at the time) into a make shift palette. Fail. Anyway I'd love to own it again!

Our Trip to Brighton/London
Last week I visited Brighton with my boyfriend Joseph, Charlotte from Colours and Carousels and also her boyfriend Paddy. I now have a new goal in life to move there. It is such a lovely place and I do not know quite how to describe it but the style of buildings and the shops just make you feel like you are on holiday abroad, is that weird? Anyway here is a break down of what we did while we were away on our short break:
Day 1- We arrived into Brighton (after a train, bus, plane and then another bus) on the Monday night therefore all there really was to do was to go out to eat. We went to a gorgeous looking Italian restaurant called Alfresco which was looking over the sea. However the food definitely lacked lustre, well my meal did, Paddys pizza tasted amazing! Also since when did tips automatically get added to your bill? cheeky!
Day 2-
This was our only full day in Brighton so we decided to completely fill the day. First we went to the Sea Life centre, I never knew there are so many different types of fish! I can not remember exactly the cost of entry but it wasn't expensive and I would totally go again. Then we spent absolutely ages on the pier, I'd hate to think of how much money was wasted on the arcades.. the fish and chip restaurant we ate at for lunch was good though! Then we decided to explore the shops, I never even knew Choccy Woccy Doo Dah was in Brighton. I was good though and didn't buy any thing, that's restraint right there. At night we yet again had Italian food for dinner from a restaurant called Fat Leo, the pizza was so good! I definitely recommend going there as it was 3 courses for £9.50.
We caught the train to London at around 10 am and left at 9 pm, fair to say we were shattered at the end. The day was spent sight seeing - this includes the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Trafalgar Square, Covent Gardens and finally Buckingham Palace. We also got a sneaky peak of the Queen in her carriage leaving the parliament, exciting! More time was also spent in the arcades next to the London eye.. Then finally we went on it, I was terrified to say the least. Another fear that I conquered that day was going on the Underground - it was a lot less scary than I thought. There was time to spare before we went and got dinner so we had a little look around the shops, Topshop is massive! M&M world was great too, the smell of the store just made me want to go buy heaps of them. Finally we ate at Planet Hollywood, this is another restaurant that I would definitely recommend.
Day 4- This was spent travelling once again, I think everyone had already developed the holiday blues. I would definitely recommend a trip to Brighton to anyone, we did not experience amazing weather but it was better than having constant down pour. I recon Brighton would be amazing in the middle of summer, definitely want to revisit sometime soon! Check out Charlottes blog for even more photos, she was more camera savvy than me.

New Purchases: Tropical Print and a Pinafore
Okay, so I went out for dinner with my sister and kind of stumbled in to the shops. I promised myself that I would not buy anything but I could not restrain! These items were so cheap they just called to me (story for everyone huh?).
The denim pinafore dress was from Primark and was on sale for only £5! Its so cute and I know that they are majorly on trend right now however its too big for me, boo. So if you do decide to purchase this item I recommend going down a size or unlike lazy me, try it on!
I spent ages deciding if I should purchase the tropical print t-shirt dress from New Look but at £15 it was a bargain, it wasn't even on sale! I originally bought it to wear on a night out but it could definitely be worn during the day, expect a day to night post soon! However I might go exchange it for a smaller size, I don't know if its my awkward body proportions but it is really long and baggy on me even with a belt.

Wednesday Wishlist
1. I have always been a big fan of Ray Bans so when I came across this look a likes on the Topshop webpage for just £10 they immediately shot to the top of my wishlist. I almost ordered them but I know I should go try them on as many sunglasses just don't suit my face shape!
2. Something I really want to get into this summer is maxi dresses, I'm not sure how they will work with my height though (I'm only 5"3). This one is perfect because the t-shirt look on top makes it very casual therefore it could be dressed down but also the long dress means it could be dressed up. Its pretty cheap too at only £14.99!
3. I fell in love with this top when I was in River Island the other week, there's something about off shoulder tops that appeals to me. I think its because they look so sophisticated and feminine. I specifically love the thick band around the neckline of this one, makes me think that it will stay where its meant to be. This floral pattern would go great with just a black skater skirt. The store also stocks lots of plain colours!
4. This concealer is from the Dainty Doll line and is called 'Concealer Hot Pour'. I am yet to invest in a good concealer, I am so bad as I never use one but I seriously need to! I'm specifically intrigued by this one as the line is created for paler skin tones, which I definitely fall under.

May Favourites
1. This hand wash smells a-mazing! It says that the scent is 'pink grape fruit and basil' however it just smells fruity, I totally don't smell the basil. I find myself washing my hands even when I don't need to because this sticks around for so long. Best thing is that I got it for under £1 from Superdrug, recommend it so much! They also have the same scents in shower gels, I have the orange one and it smells so good!
2. Okay I have had this for so so long, should probably stop using it now. I use this Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Permanent Taupe under most of my eye shadows as a base. It adds more dimension and also helps the colours not crease, its amazing and so cheap!
3. The camera totally did not pick up the colour of this Sinful Colors nail varnish. Its actually a seam foam bluey/green. I wore it for 3 days without a topcoat and it didn't chip, so impressed! The shade is called Sweet Nothing. I bought this last year from Boots and totally forgot about it, my mum actually found it under my bed oops! Best thing? they only cost £1.99!
4. Rose gold is my current favourite colour of jewellery. I actually bought these earrings last year from New Look and I have recently rediscovered them, don't you love that? They can spice up any outfit, even a very plain one. My go to earrings!
