Snake Print Slip-ons

Buy Them Here

When I ventured into Topshop the other day, these shoes immediately drew me in. Snake print has to be one of my favourite prints on everything from clothes to bags right now. I knew that I had to snatch these up and for only £20, they were decently priced. I also adore grey right now and the panels on the side of the shoes just fuel my love for them. Annoyingly I am between sizes - the 5 just fell off my foot but the 4 was slightly too tight! However I just went with the 4 in hopes that they will stretch a little. They are so comfortable to walk around in except they did rub my heel but that is definitely expected with new shoes. I teamed them with black ripped jeans, a white jumper and a pastel statement necklace. I cannot wait to wear these more!

Recently I have been a little uninspired by my blog.. its not that I do not enjoy it anymore, its just my content is getting a little tired. I definitely want to change it up but right now I have no idea how! However over the next few weeks I will be putting a lot of thought into it. What type of posts do you most enjoy reading? Suggestions will definitely help me out a lot!

1. I have never been a big fan of fringe but it has to be said that this bag is so unique and utterly gorgeous. Although the bag makes a huge statement, the fact that it is black still means that it could be worn with many outfits. If I had £38 spare then I would be making my way to Topshop right now!

2. For ages now my bed has been lacking in cushions and a white furry one is what is needed. They just look so luxurious and cosy! However I find that they are always pretty expensive so are never on the top of my priorities list.

3. A huge amount of bloggers have been raving about this and for only £4.99, I cant believe that I have not picked one up yet. There is a massive 14 colours to choose from but on the top of my list is Berry Much (pictured), Keep it Classy or Minimalist.

4. Many websites current have black and white stripped shirts right now, something which is such a staple but I sadly do not own yet. This one is only £19.99 which I think is a steal! It would go with so much, I am imagining it with black jeans and a leather jacket or fur vest.

1. How gorgeous are the colours in this shirt? I am so tempted to buy it to wear with a white crop top and either high waisted jeans or shorts. It would be even more perfect for Autumn just to chuck on with jeans and a tshirt.

2. As you can tell from these boots and the last shirt - I am starting to get into Autumn fashion. I wanted a pair of boots like these last winter but never got them so this year its my goal to get some. I actually saw a version of these in Primark but sadly they did not have my size.

3. Okay back to summer, I love these sandals! Lots of people in London were wearing similar ones and it just made my want grow. However as summer is ending soon I cant bring myself to buy them.

4. Ah I want this purse so badly. New Look also have this design in a clutch which I wouldn't mind owning either. At just £7.99 this purse is such a great deal! now just the decision of colour.. black or pink?

Recent Purcases - Topshop, AX Paris, Primark and New Look

First of all I am so sorry about my disappearance from the blogging world the past few days! I've had my mum over and have been working loads. My mum and I went shopping, here are some bits I picked up:

1. I was seriously lacking earrings so I picked up these in Primark. You can never go wrong buying 9 pairs of earrings for 2! I love the colour palette, gold and pale pink just looks great together. My favourites are the ones on the bottom right! I carried on the pale pink theme with the larger flower earrings for £1.50, I wore these today and they are gorgeous.

2. This skirt previously was £15 and I really wanted it but never picked it up. During my last trip to New Look I noticed it was down to £8 so I had to get it! Its such a versatile skirt and will last me through summer and also if I add tights, winter.

3. How gorgeous is this kimono? It was only £20 from the AX Paris section in New Look. This is shockingly my first kimono but I definitely plan to buy more. The only negative is that it is pretty big and a bit long even though its a s/m but this is totally something that I can work around.

4. I actually bought this top to match my kimono. It was only £12 from Topshop! I love the neckline as I think it looks so feminine and I have none like it. Hopefully I will wear this top and kimono on my birthday at the end of this month so there will definitely be an outfit post!

Got Your Bikini Body Ready? My Swimwear Picks

The answer to the above question is - I definitely do not!. I wish so badly that I was going somewhere hot this year but sadly I am not, however this is an excuse for me to continue eating junk as I do not have to care about showing my body off in a bikini (whats that about every cloud?). There are so many lovely ones out there though, this year I am particularly loving high waisted bottoms and long line tops. Here are my picks from various websites:

1. I have always been a big fan of Ray Bans so when I came across this look a likes on the Topshop webpage for just £10 they immediately shot to the top of my wishlist. I almost ordered them but I know I should go try them on as many sunglasses just don't suit my face shape!

2. Something I really want to get into this summer is maxi dresses, I'm not sure how they will work with my height though (I'm only 5"3). This one is perfect because the t-shirt look on top makes it very casual therefore it could be dressed down but also the long dress means it could be dressed up. Its pretty cheap too at only £14.99!

3. I fell in love with this top when I was in River Island the other week, there's something about off shoulder tops that appeals to me. I think its because they look so sophisticated and feminine. I specifically love the thick band around the neckline of this one, makes me think that it will stay where its meant to be. This floral pattern would go great with just a black skater skirt. The store also stocks lots of plain colours!

4. This concealer is from the Dainty Doll line and is called 'Concealer Hot Pour'. I am yet to invest in a good concealer, I am so bad as I never use one but I seriously need to! I'm specifically intrigued by this one as the line is created for paler skin tones, which I definitely fall under.

New Purchase: Chunky Cut Out Boots (Topshop Copycat)

So I recently stumbled across these boots on the Topshop website (which I love!). However £42 was a bit steep for me..
Topshop Boots - Get Them Here

I then went to the place where I knew that I could get a version of these for cheaper - eBay. Even better the boots I got are the EXACT same! They were from a company on eBay for only £24.99 and £3.99 shipping!, here is the link

Arent they identical? Best thing is they are so versatile! They can be worn casual or dressy, with skirts or with trousers.. so many outfits! I actually wore them today (I spent 5 and a half hours shopping) with my black treggings, a mint jumper and leather jacket. I must admit my feet were a little sore towards the end but I thought I lasted so long considering I was wearing heels! This is because your feet aren't at much of an angle due to the large platform.

Do you ever look on eBay for bargains?

1. Okay I admit, I've actually had this Dragons Egg bath bomb from Lush before but I really want to buy it again! It smells so lovely and citrusey, unfortunately I have no bath at my uni accommodation. Next time I visit home I think I might buy one here in Aberdeen and bring it back (my home town lacks a Lush, boo).

2. I have always been a fan of River Island bags and purses, there are so many I'd love to own. I chose this one as I think the flower pattern is gorgeous, I wish they did this design in a pastel!

3. I purchased the Herbal Essences Bee Strong shampoo and conditioner at the weekend after reading lots of reviews on them (Ill have my own review up soon). I know want to buy this mask as my hair dresser keeps insisting that I use a deep conditioner as my hair is so dry, its been that way for years. No matter how many home made masks and conditioners I use, it just doesn't get better. Hopefully this would help salvage it a little until I eventually cut off all the dead ends!

4. Joni jeans from Topshop are my favourite, I'm also a fan of the gingham pattern therefore these jeans are perfect. I am a bit reluctant to pay £38 though, I wore my last Joni jeans so much that the fabric became so thin and ripped. Primark do carry jeans with this pattern but I am just scared of the fit!

Chunky Sandal Trend

Who else joins me in loving the chunky sandal trend? I hated it at first but now I love them! People often walk past me in the street with lovely ones on and I just want to be that creepy person who chases them down the street and asks where they are from ha ha!. I have been browsing many webpages and oh my, there are so many out there that I lust after. Here are a few of my favourites:

What I Wore: night out #6

A group of my friends from home came to Aberdeen last weekend for a night out, typical me used this as an excuse to buy a new outfit. I have to admit that I seriously struggled to find one that I was happy with.. however 2 clothing returns later I found this!

The top was from the sale section at Miss Selfridge and cost me £15. I was a nice fit when it was on however it was reeeaaally tight around the chest area so I required help to take it off ha ha! The shorts were also £15 and are from H&M, they were such funny sizing though! My usual size would not even tie on me but the next size up was too big on the waist, however I settled for them. I teamed this with my usual black chunky heels (sorry you cant see them). For jewellery I went simple and just wore my grey chain from Topshop!

Hope you enjoyed!

1. I have always heard such great things about the Clarisonic yet I am still hesitant to purchase one due to the price. However lately I've been thinking that it will be a good investment, have you tried it? Maybe I'd be best buying a cheaper version first..

2. These shoes are so lovely! I have to admit it took me a long time to understand why people wore ones like this. Now I constantly crave them and create outfits in my head to match!

3. How gorgeous is this skirt? the colours just say spring/summer all over! At only £17.99 this is a complete deal, I don't know if I would be confident enough to wear it though..

4. I've seen pictures of this product everywhere and I am so intrigued but it. I just love the thought of a liquid lipstick. I specifically wish to try Tangerine Sonate which is a lovely coral and also Rose Symphony which is a pink. I recon this will be my next makeup purchase.

I Love: the floral trend

123456

I absolutely love the florals that are coming into stores right now! I think its just because they remind me that it is nearly summer. Above are a few items I have chosen from various websites that I really really would love to own. I think my favourite is the daisy print shorts from Motel, aren't they lovely? Only downside is that they are £35, if I had that spare I would totally buy them. Another one of my favourites is the play suit from Missguided, the colours are beautiful. I just wish I had the figure to pull it off, should have started working on a summer body a long time a go ha ha! Finally the shirt dress from Pretty Little Thing is adorable! I can just imagine belting it and wearing it in summer with wedges, would look so lovely!

1. I walked past this bag in the pale pink shade every time I am at work, each time falling a little more in love with it. When I looked on the Debenhams website I found it in pale yellow, so unique and pretty! The only thing putting me off buying this bag is the fact that it could only be worn for 2 seasons of the year, still its so tempting!

2. The contrast of the pastel blue and black makes me love this dress even more! Its only £20 too.. is it worth going into my overdraft for? ha ha! Pretty Little Thing has to be my new favourite website

3. Pale blue and pale pink.. how could this top get better? I really want this to go with shorts and a bandeaux for summer, dont think I could quite pull it off though!

4. I love the concept of this concealer as it contains an under eye brightening concealer, complexion concealer and setting powder... all for £10! I dont actually own a concealer right now as I havent got round to purchasing one in like 8 months (so bad!). Have any of you's tried this?

1. How can a denim dress go wrong? I really like this one from H&M and its only £15! I think this is such a good deal as you can wear it in summer or winter (with tights). Also it can be dressed down for during the day and also can be dressed up with heels at night, so versatile!

2. I was originally looking for the traditional daisy earrings but then I stumbled across these pink ones from Topshop. Such a unique twist and a little different than the average daisy, perfect for spring/summer!

3. My phone case right now is so dated so I have been thinking lately that I need to update it for spring. This phone case is from Ebay and is bea-u-tiful! Only £5 as well, means I can buy myself more on top of this one ha ha!

4. I recently started working at Marta Jonsson at my local Debenhams and fell in love with this boot immediately! The picture does not do it justice at all. I know its getting into spring/summer so boots aren't needed but I would happily invest in this boot for later this year. I know £95 is a little bit steep but they are such good quality so the price really is justified!

1. This necklace is actually under the girls section of the River Island website but I fell in love with it! I think I just like how it incorporates many different pastel colours in one necklace, could brighten up any outfit!

2. I feel in love with this skirt in New Look and had to drag myself away from it. However I do plan to buy it for my holidays. It was placed near a mint top that went perfectly! Definitely an outfit I want to own.

3. How beautiful is this top? I want to buy it for my holiday also but I feel that I may not be able to pull it off.. nothing going into the changing rooms cant solve!
4. I just love how simple this bag is yet the colour makes it unique. I can just imagine it accompanying a spring/summer outfit. Its not that expensive either, waaaaay cheaper than the Mulberry one from last week!

Gift Idea: Night out kit

I was seriously struggling to think of a birthday present for my best friend as she has everything and also I was running out of time. She loves going on nights out so why not give her a kit? Here is my logic behind it:

I purchased some makeup for her to get ready with. Firstly is the 'Undress Me Too' MUA palette, I actually got this because I heard its a dupe for one of the Naked ones. The colours are also all wearable so I couldnt go wrong with it really. I then got a gift set from Topshop with the 'Rio Rio' lipstick and 'Morning Dew' cream blusher, my friend loves red lipstick so I thought that was a good choice. The nail varnish I got is by Sinful Colours and it is called 'Boogie Nights'.

I also bought her hairspray to do her hair with on the night. I would have got her a perfume but due to having a low budget I just got her an Impulse spray as I know she likes them. High heels are always worn out so I thought that heel cushions would come in handy. Obviously vodka is needed!. To keep her breath fresh I bought chewing gum. Finally I got Johnsons makeup wipes for her to use when she gets home and is too tired to go all out with cleanser!

Ibuprofen is always needed for the day after so I included that. After a night of drinking I always find that I just want to eat and eat! So I bought her her favourite crisps as a little snack ha ha!

Isnt this bow cute? and only 49p! I bought this to stick on the vodka to make it look a little prettier. So overall I think this makes a pretty good gift as it contains many necessities for a night out, I know Id love to receive it!

Do you know of any other quick gift ideas?

Trend: Asymmetric skirts/skorts

I absolutely love asymmetrical bottoms! Every time I go into a clothing store or online I notice at least one skirt or skort that I really want to purchase and I have to drag myself away from it, specifically black ones as they would go with anything! Also who doesn't love the idea of a skort?! I constantly have problems with my skirt blowing in the wind so why not wear shorts that look like a skirt instead. Visions of outfits constantly are in my head centering around an asymmetric skirt/skort worn with either a jumper, crop top or a t shirt. Here are a few of my favourites:

1. Since buying the Naked 3 palette (and loving it) I am desperate to get the 2nd one. All shades look wearable for day time and nights out which makes it perfect! Although a bit pricey, the quality of Urban Decay eye shadows is amazing and  there are 12 shades which isnt too bad.

2. Recently I've been really wanting to purchase an over sized check shirt. I just think they are so versatile and can create many different looks as they can be worn open or closed.

3. I saw this skirt in H&M the other day and fell in love! I feel like leather skirts can be worn during the day with a t shirt or jumper but also can be dressed up to go out. Also you can not beat this price of this one, only £14.99!

4. Hurry up spring! I'm really liking floral dresses right now (I don't own any at all!). Come spring/summer I definitely see me having a wardrobe full of them! This one from Missguided is beautiful and the cut out detail in the front adds something a little different to the dress.

What I Wore- running errands

I've got to admit that I'm not a major fan of the Red Hot Chili Peppers but I do like a few of their songs so that makes it acceptable for me to wear this top right? I saw it in New Look around August time and fell in love as its so versatile, I just love band tees in general! Heres the outfit:

I wore the top with my patterned disco pants from Topshop which I got for Christmas (you can't really so them in the photos). To cover up my arms I wore a denim shirt that I got from Topshop a long long time ago but I still love it! And to finish off I thought  my white converse were the perfect way to tie the outfit together.

1. I am dying to get my hands on a pastel jumper in either pink, blue or mint! I think they are so beautiful and are great for a transition from winter to spring. The one I have featured is from Topshop but I have also seen a really lovely pink one in Newlook which I am sure can be bought at a much cheaper price!

2. I have a love/hate relationship with asymmetric skirts. I love them because I think they look edgy and can be worn in many ways however I hate that I have visions of me in one with a crop top, a look I could never pull off. Who knows maybe I will purchase one and wear a longer top with it!

3. Frilly socks are the cutest! They are a must for me right now to wear with boots as it adds a quirky edge to an outfit. Topshop have so many different colour options, all only for £3.50! They also stock patterned ones which are lovely.

4. Ah I am dying to get my hands on this but it would set me back £90. As far as I know the camera comes in pale pink, pale blue and white which are all mega cute! Also patterned film can be bought which adds a fun side to taking photos!
