Belted Culottes

These culottes have been sat in my wardrobe for a couple of months now however, they have never been worn as in my mind they did not emphasis my waist enough (and I definitely need a little help with that). This was until I was asked to style this lovely Gant* belt. The pop of red really finalises the outfit and adds that little something extra therefore making me finally fall in love with the culottes. A belt like this could literally spice up any outfit, from a daytime plain tee and jeans to a fancy little black dress, giving it the potential to be a staple in any girls wardrobe. Gant offer many other belts that portray a classic design in different colours such as black, navy and brown therefore you really cannot go wrong investing in one of the company's belts as they are so easy to style. As the belt is of such high quality, I can definitely see me wearing this lovely red shade with so many other outfits in the future. I am also thinking of investing in a black one!

Bodysuit - Boohoo
Culottes - Boohoo
Belt - Gant*
Bag - New Look
Shoes - Asos

I also added my v neck bodysuit in order to make the culottes look more like a jump suit as they are my absolute love right now. Due to the soft and stretchy material of both the top and bottoms, this outfit is beyond comfy while still being shapely due to the belt. Now these shoes, they may look pretty but they are so hard to walk in! Maybe this is just because I am used to a chunky heel.. but we all suffer for fashion don't we? I just feel so grown up and classy in them, just now to practice, practice, practice.

Do you like using belts to spice up an outfit?

Gift Idea: Night out kit

I was seriously struggling to think of a birthday present for my best friend as she has everything and also I was running out of time. She loves going on nights out so why not give her a kit? Here is my logic behind it:

I purchased some makeup for her to get ready with. Firstly is the 'Undress Me Too' MUA palette, I actually got this because I heard its a dupe for one of the Naked ones. The colours are also all wearable so I couldnt go wrong with it really. I then got a gift set from Topshop with the 'Rio Rio' lipstick and 'Morning Dew' cream blusher, my friend loves red lipstick so I thought that was a good choice. The nail varnish I got is by Sinful Colours and it is called 'Boogie Nights'.

I also bought her hairspray to do her hair with on the night. I would have got her a perfume but due to having a low budget I just got her an Impulse spray as I know she likes them. High heels are always worn out so I thought that heel cushions would come in handy. Obviously vodka is needed!. To keep her breath fresh I bought chewing gum. Finally I got Johnsons makeup wipes for her to use when she gets home and is too tired to go all out with cleanser!

Ibuprofen is always needed for the day after so I included that. After a night of drinking I always find that I just want to eat and eat! So I bought her her favourite crisps as a little snack ha ha!

Isnt this bow cute? and only 49p! I bought this to stick on the vodka to make it look a little prettier. So overall I think this makes a pretty good gift as it contains many necessities for a night out, I know Id love to receive it!

Do you know of any other quick gift ideas?

What I Wore: night out #4

I managed to steal the most perfect play suit from my sister on Saturday but I ended up not liking it which I was very upset about. The reason I didn't like it is because the shorts part were really baggy and not very flattering but as I was determined to wear it I just put a skirt on top! here was is the playsuit:

It can be bought here for £24.99! I still think its worth the price even if I cover up the bottom ha ha!

On to my actual outfit:

I wore a skirt which I feature way to often on my blog but it just goes with everything! Its my quilted, shiny skater skirt from River Island. On my feet (which you cant see) is also something that I feature way to much on my blog - my black Boohoo heels.. go on any other going out post of mine and I guarantee you will see them.

Im hoping to spend the next few weekends in as going out all the time is doing no good on my body and also my bank balance, we shall see!

What I Wore: night out #3

So I was out once again last weekend.. all my money is vanishing. I really struggled to find something to wear as the dress I got from the Clothes Show is way too long, I'm gutted. I just looked into my wardrobe and chose clothes that I have had for ages which I really need to start doing more! Here is the outfit:

I cant even remember when I bought this pink lace crop top! I think I mainly picked it up because it was so cheap as is from Primark. However I have never really found an outfit for it until now. The skirt has been featured in a blog post before and is from River Island. I love how it looks like leather because it is so shiny!

The necklace I got recently from New Look and it was around £8 I think. I love it because it definitely makes a plain outfit so much better! The bracelet is also from New Look however I got it in summer. Its really pretty and consists of lots of different chains.

My trusty shoes which I wear all the time were featured in my last 'What I wore' post and are from Boohoo. I love them!

Thanks for reading!

What I Wore: night out #2

So..I went out last weekend once again. It is actually getting bad how much I go out, so expensive! Sorry I didn't actually get a photo of me actually wearing the dress but I do have an photo of everything I wore, here it goes:

The tartan dress is one I got recently and I am in love! It is from Daisy Street and all though I cant actually find this dress anymore on the website there are many more like it in different colours.

The shoes I wore are from Boohoo and I got them ages ago hence how beat up they are. I was so surprised that they still have them on the website, linked here. Only £25 aswell! so worth it

The necklace is just a silver chain that I got from Primark for around £2. I also had my pandora and shambella bracelets on too.

Hope you enjoyed!
