High Neck and Tartan

Top - New Look
Skirt - New Look
Cardigan - Primark
Necklace -New Look
Boots - Schuh

I just threw on this outfit for uni and instantly fell in love, isn't it amazing when that happens? The skirt is from New Look a while back and I wear it so often, this includes nights out and comfy outfits. Versatile pieces are great! Paired with my new high neck top and comfy cardi made this look perfect for sitting in my two hour lecture (it really was as boring as it sounds). Recently I have been loving layering necklaces, preferably sets that you can buy because it is just easier. This gorgeous piece was only £3 on sale! Finally I wore my trusty chunky boots as always.

What is your go to comfy outfit?

Festive Night Out

Top - Primark
Skirt - New Look
Heels - New Look
Necklace - Primark

Last week, me and my friends decided to go on a night out. Since it was near Christmas I wanted to wear something festive! I originally wanted to wear something sparkly but with nothing in my closet I was stuck for ideas... and money. When I remembered my flat mate Charlotte has this tartan skirt I jumped at the chance to wear it. Tartan is also festive in my opinion, especially this colour. Teamed with my black long sleeved crop tee and black heels made it an outfit that I loved, the sleeves also kept me warm while walking to the club. As usual a gold chain was added, it would not be an 'Eilidh' look without a chain would it? I also borrowed Charlottes Mac lipstick in Viva Glam III (if thats even how you type it), its gorgeous though! On another note, how cute is my brussel sprout wrapping paper from Paperchase?!

Have you been on a Christmas night out? If so, what did you wear?

Fluffy and Tartan

Jumper- New Look
Skirt - New Look
Shoes - Ebay

Tartan again... I know, its getting bad but I just love it! This skirt is from New Look and I have actually featured it in a post before, which can be found here. The colours are gorgeous, burgundy has to be my favourite colour to wear right now. Sadly this cant be found on the website anymore but there are so many like it. Ah this jumper has to be the cosiest one that I own! It was actually gifted to me by my mum last Christmas so again its not on the website anymore but here is a similar one. You can also find these in other stores such as Topshop too! Mine is terribly unflattering but I love it. My shoes have been featured many times of my blog and even have their own post dedicated to them. They are so comfy and I must say, they are just beautiful!

Autumn Staples - Tartan Everything

**I still have no internet, should do by the 9th!

Another reason that I love Autumn is because it is more acceptable to wear tartan! There are actually so many pieces of clothing that I want to buy right now This ranges from dresses such as 1, New Look have so many like this. I particularly love this one as blue and green tartan has to be my favourite. I also really want to buy a tartan pencil skirt (8), I just think that it could be worn dressed up or down. Thats always a good excuse to buy something right? There is no point even rambling on about which pieces from this wishlist that I like best, I want it all! Anyone have a money tree in their garden that I could borrow?

Are you all kitted out for autumn yet ?

A Little Bit of Tartan...Again

Dress - Daisy Street
Blazer - New Look
Necklace - H&M
Shoes - Dune

As I mentioned before - I love tartan! This dress was bought last winter and I have been wearing it all year round. I pair it with this New Look blazer (its ancient) often as its not too cold for it yet however I wear my leather jacket sometimes instead. My slip ons are never off my feet and so it is great that they look perfect with this dress! Do I need to talk about the chain? I really need to venture out and stop wearing them ha ha!

Do you like tartan?

What I Wore: night out #2

So..I went out last weekend once again. It is actually getting bad how much I go out, so expensive! Sorry I didn't actually get a photo of me actually wearing the dress but I do have an photo of everything I wore, here it goes:

The tartan dress is one I got recently and I am in love! It is from Daisy Street and all though I cant actually find this dress anymore on the website there are many more like it in different colours.

The shoes I wore are from Boohoo and I got them ages ago hence how beat up they are. I was so surprised that they still have them on the website, linked here. Only £25 aswell! so worth it

The necklace is just a silver chain that I got from Primark for around £2. I also had my pandora and shambella bracelets on too.

Hope you enjoyed!

Zara shirt OOTD

hey! heres a quick post on an outfit I wore the other day.

My shirt is from Zara and I am in love with it! I especially love the dark blue tartan, its subtle but still noticeable. I also love how the shirt has long sleeves. I did however get this shirt a size too small so its a bit short but I totally think it looks like its meant to be that style anyway. This shirt was around £25 however I cant find it on the website anymore but there are lots that are a similar style!

My jeans are my trusted Joni black skinnys from Topshop and my boots are the Majestic cut out boots
also from Topshop. I got them for £45 a few months ago. I love the colour of them! However Topshop now only have the black version available on their website.

The necklace I wore is my chain from Primark which I got for £2! And finally I just topped off the look with my ancient black biker style jacket.

Interview OOTD

On Thursday I had an interview which was at a fashion retailer. I knew I had to dress fashionable but still smart. I had a big dilemma in what to wear as I felt so under pressure! It is a job I'd love to be in and fits around my fashion management course perfectly however there were many other lovely people going in for the jobs too so I do not know what my chances are of actually getting one. Anyway this is what I wore!

I decided to go with one of this seasons major trends: tartan. I've had this New Look shirt for years and kind of forgot about it in the back of my wardrobe but its finally made its comeback into my wardrobe. I tucked the shirt into my quilted skirt from River Island. It looks like leather in person as it is a shiny material. It was only £12 in the sales! I also had my super cosy tights on from Primark, they honestly are the best things ever! They last ages and are only £3.50. For jewellery I added a small silver chain necklace under the collar just to add some detail, it was £2 from Primark! I also wore my Pandora bracelet and a shambella on my wrist, these are just my daily bracelets.

On my feet I wore my little black boots from Primark. They are so cute but I only got them last week and they already look quite worn.. I should have expected that from £8 shoes though! never the less I will get a lot more wear out of them.

Hope you enjoyed my post, fingers crossed that I get a job!
