Primark Pastels

Tell me I am not the only one who is noticing how many fab pastel items Primark has right now? Pictured above are some of my most recent purchases, some of which have already been shown on my blog. I am just loving this trend though! Both bags were only £6 and they are gorgeous. When I first saw the blue lacey (kinda) top I instantly fell in love and had to get it, I think both tops were around £6 too. The mint t-shirt, featured in this post, is now a staple in my wardrobe, it goes with so much! I definitely plan on purchasing more pastel items to add to my wardrobe.

Have you checked out Primark recently? I definitely recommend it!

Small Primark Haul

So I kind of stumbled into Primark the other day.. however I only came out with two t-shirts (which I am saving for outfit posts), shoes and a bag. So proud of myself. Here are my lovely new sandals and handbag:

I've wanted these for a long time and took a while to choose what colour. There was tan, black, white in this fake leather and red, mint and I'm pretty sure there were a blue pair in a fabric material. I decided on these as I thought they would go with so much plus I already own so many black shoes, Only thing is I have very broad feet and I don't know if these look okay on them, boo! They were only £8 though so I'm still happy that I picked them up.

How cute is this bag? I am so so so into pastels right now so this blue is perfect. I'm awful as I am one who never buys new bags, my old one is majorly scruffy! This bag only set me back £6, pretty good deal if you ask me. I noticed there was a few other colours too, so tempted to invest in more!

1. I walked past this bag in the pale pink shade every time I am at work, each time falling a little more in love with it. When I looked on the Debenhams website I found it in pale yellow, so unique and pretty! The only thing putting me off buying this bag is the fact that it could only be worn for 2 seasons of the year, still its so tempting!

2. The contrast of the pastel blue and black makes me love this dress even more! Its only £20 too.. is it worth going into my overdraft for? ha ha! Pretty Little Thing has to be my new favourite website

3. Pale blue and pale pink.. how could this top get better? I really want this to go with shorts and a bandeaux for summer, dont think I could quite pull it off though!

4. I love the concept of this concealer as it contains an under eye brightening concealer, complexion concealer and setting powder... all for £10! I dont actually own a concealer right now as I havent got round to purchasing one in like 8 months (so bad!). Have any of you's tried this?

1. How pretty is this bedding? I dream of a room with white furniture and floral prints. Whats best is that this particular bedding is not too expensive, hopefully I can get it for when I move out of student accommodation to a new flat in September!

2. Is the pinafore trend passed now? I'm still in love with them whatever, however I still have yet to buy one. I either want a floral print one or this striped one from Pretty Little Thing (my new favourite website!). They can be dressed up or dressed down, which appeals to me.

3. As I mentioned in another blog posts - daisies are my new favourite thing! I recently bought a lovely tshirt dress with daisies (last blog post) but I need another one to added to my obsession and this Missguided dress is perfect!

4.I normally use the Sleek brow kit for my brows but recently I have been wanting to get the Benefit gimmeBROW as it just seems like an interesting product. Hopefully I can save for it and get it soon!

1. I wish I had nice, thick, long hair that enabled me to do a high bun just so I could use this flower garland! I've seen so many people wear them at uni and they just look lovely!

2. Tell me why I am so obsessed with this top? Missguided have so many in different colours and I've been admiring them for months. For some reason I haven't bought one yet though.. need to get on to that!

3.This dress incorporates two trends - dogstooth and pastel. I love the cut of it as well as its not too tight but still fits to the body. Also it has sleeves, I need sleeves!

4.I was browsing on Missguided as usual and came across these shoes. They would be so perfect for spring or summer parties/nights out! I can just imagine that they would brighten up any outfit easily. I just wish they had a chunkier heel so they would be easier to walk in!

Essie Spring Pastels

I am a huge lover of pastel nails in Spring!  When I have pastel nails my mood is automatically enhanced as they just make me think of sunny weather, even if it is still freezing here! I'm dying to go out and get my hands on some new ones for this year as most of my polishes have gone all gloopy which is sad. When I walk past an Essie stand, there is always at least a handful of colours that I want to own. Stupidly I decided to browse the Superdrug website and look at what Essie polishes they had to offer, now my heart hurts because I know I'll never be able to afford all the ones I love! Anyway here are some of my favourites:

1. This necklace is actually under the girls section of the River Island website but I fell in love with it! I think I just like how it incorporates many different pastel colours in one necklace, could brighten up any outfit!

2. I feel in love with this skirt in New Look and had to drag myself away from it. However I do plan to buy it for my holidays. It was placed near a mint top that went perfectly! Definitely an outfit I want to own.

3. How beautiful is this top? I want to buy it for my holiday also but I feel that I may not be able to pull it off.. nothing going into the changing rooms cant solve!
4. I just love how simple this bag is yet the colour makes it unique. I can just imagine it accompanying a spring/summer outfit. Its not that expensive either, waaaaay cheaper than the Mulberry one from last week!

1. I spent ages trying to decide if I should choose a seasonal coloured bag or one I could use all year round...then I realised I'll never actually get one! I adore Mulberry bags, especially the one pictured, its a shame they are so expensive. A girl can dream!

2. I saw this blazer in New Look the other day and instantly fell in love! Its such a lovely spring/summer colour and would brighten up anyone's wardrobe.. especially mine which features mainly dark colours (I need to change that!)

3.Right now daisy's are my obsession - on clothes, jewellery, photo frames, phone cases... the list could just go on and on. I saw this necklace on River Islands website and just thought it was beautiful. I reckon it could spruce up any plain outfit!

4. This jewellery box was almost purchased as a gift for my friend but I ended up going in a different direction. I can just imagine this sitting on my dressing table looking beautiful! I am so tempted to order it for myself.

 1. I cant face going into Paperchase anymore as these frames are displayed so beautifully and I cant bring myself to buy one. They have loads of lovely pastel shades which I love but also some bright ones.. the urge to treat myself is starting to become overwhelming.

2. I know this is a February birthstone ring and my birthday is in July but I love it and have been lusting after it for over a year! I think it looks so delicate and would go with every outfit. I actually asked my mum to get me it for my 18th but instead I decided on getting clothes for a festival, I regret this is much!

3. Something I am seriously lacking in are heels that aren't black. I am in desperate need for some chunky nude heels and these ones from New Look are perfect! I cant wait to brighten up my 'going out' wardrobe and step away from black.

4. Cath Kidston prints are my weakness, my dream house would be covered in it! I came across these hangers on ASOS and instantly fell in love, the only thing I am not in love with is the price.. £12 for 3 hangers? I'm used to 10 for £1 from Poundland ha ha!
